Dealing with Pain (2010)

The band Absorb was founded as early as in 1989, and in 1994 they decided to take a long break. In 2007, a decision was made to revive Absorb. And now, they are taking the next step, because in 2010 their album „Dealing with Pain“ was released..

With some albums, it's really hard for me to write something good about, but not with „Dealing with Pain“. As soon as the CD was in the player, I was hooked. The first song, „Dealing with Pain“ was loud, heavy and fast, the drummer is really hard at work. I can't help thinking about groups like Cannibal Corpse, but Absorb don't just copy, but creat their own sound. The singer's voice is really awsome and really captivates my attention.

I like track number 9 „Out of Contol“ best, here, the band does some incredible work, everything just fits. It's loud, heavy and fast and then again melodic, the guitars are really on fire.

The 11 songs on the CD are all good, so I can only advise everybody to buy the album. For 10 Euro + shipping fee (within Germany 1,45 Euro) you can order the CD on  merch@absorb-metal.eu.
